Delivery & Returns


DELIVERY TIMES

We will always try to deliver your item within 14 - 30 days, however some out of stock items could take longer, you will be informed of out of stock items via e-mail and you will be given the option to keep the order in place or cancel. It's not always possible to keep all stock levels up to date. If you want to check the lead time on your product before purchasing, please email sales@aroundthehousefurniture.co.uk

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY COSTS

Please note some areas outside of mainland UK can occur additional delivery costs, this includes some postcodes in Scotland, if this applies to you, we will email you with costs before dispatching your order.

Please note due to a change in regulations, we are no longer able to ship to Northern Ireland. 

RETURNS

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. Please take when when unboxing or unwrapping your item just in case it needs to be returned. 

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@aroundthehousefurniture.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for the costs associated with returning items, we can provide a collection service from our courier for larger items and deduct the costs from the refund amount. We'll provide a quote for return costs before you send the item so you can make an informed decision if you wish to use our service or source your own. 

Customers using their own courier are responsible for ensuring the item is insured against any form of damage caused during transit. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit during their return if you have arranged your own courier.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We ask for all damages to be reported within 24 hours, unfortunately after this time we cannot make a claim for your damage.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, for example made to order. (this will be stated on the products page)

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
